Biographical Presentation
Lambeck: Heino L., geb. 1586, † den 4. Mai 1661 in Hamburg, lehrte 51 Jahre lang die Rechenkunst an der Jacobischule zu Hamburg. Er gehörte zu jenen strebsamen Männern, durch deren Zusammenwirken die „Kunstrechnungliebende Societät“ (die gegenwärtige mathematische Gesellschaft) ins Leben gerufen ward. Er verfaßte ein „Nahmen-Büchlein“, ein Schulrechenbuch in niedersächsischer Sprache und ein Lehrbuch der Sonnenuhrkunde (Corpus sciatericorum). — (Jöcher.)
