    Tittel: Gottlieb August T., eklektischer Philosoph und Kritiker des Kantischen Systems, geboren am 16. November 1739 zu Pirna, war 1760 bis 1764 Privatdocent in Jena; später wurde er Professor am Gymnasium in Karlsruhe, sowie badischer wirklicher geheimer Kirchenrath. und starb am 16. September 1816. — Von seinen zahlreichen Schriften mögen hier folgende genannt werden: „Logik“ (Frankfurt a. M. 1783); „Metaphysik“ (Frankfurt 1784); „Allgemeine praktische Philosophie“ (Frankf. 1785); „Ueber Herrn Kant's Moralreform“ (Franks und Leipzig 1786); „Kantische Denkformen oder Kategorien“ (Frankf. a. M. 1788).
