Biographical Presentation
Bialoblołcky: Christoph Heinrich Friedrich B., früher lutherischer Pastor in Göttingen, dann im Dienste der Mission Reisender im Orient und Afrika, Director einer privaten Erziehungs-Anstalt in England, Privatdocent in Göttingen, war der erste, der auf Beke's Veranlassung die Quellen des Nil von der Ostküste Afrika's aufsuchen wollte, kam aber nur bis Zanzibar. Nach vielbewegtem, abenteuerlichem Leben † er 28. März 1869 zu Ahlden a. d. Aller. Von ihm: „Ueber britisches Unterrichtswesen", „Briefe zur Entdeckung der Nilquellen“, „Briefe zur Beförderung der Humanität“. (Petermann, Mittheilungen, 1870, S. 30.)
