  • Biographical Presentation

    Gesselen: Konrad G. (Ghesselen, Ghossel), von Geismar gebürtig, daher auch so genannt, ist der Verfasser eines sehr eigenthümlichen deutschen Cisiojanus. Er wurde am 3. Mai 1424 in Rostock immatriculirt, trieb Mathematik und Astronomie und hielt sich später zu Thorn auf, zuletzt anscheinend wieder in Rostock noch 1464. Da er den Magister Albert Tomstoter, den Dr. med., seinen Promotor nennt, war er vielleicht auch Mediciner.
