  • Biographical Presentation

    A. promovierte 1888 in Gießen, war dort Assistent bei Franz Riegel, dann bei Moritz Schmidt, dem Kehlkopfoperateur Kaiser Friedrichs III., in Frankfurt/Main, ehe er sich dort 1893 niederließ. Er veröffentlichte außer dem „Cursus der laryngoskopischen und rhinoskopischen Technik“ (1891) zahlreiche Arbeiten, Zeitschriftenaufsätze u. a. über Stimmhygiene und Larynxgeschwüre. In der Laryngologie trägt das A.-Syndrom seinen Namen.
